The TARDIS

The TARDIS is the Doctor's famous space ship. Its name stands for Time And Relative Dimension In Space. This is because not only is it a space ship but it is bigger on the inside than on the outside and most importantly it can travel in time. The TARDIS did not originally belong to the Doctor. He stole it from his home planet and ran off with it, but since then he has bonded with it and is always worried about its well-being.
